What can FirstVet help with?

FirstVet can help with advice, treatment recommendations and referral to your local vet practice, if necessary.

They can help with these types of problems:

  • Vomiting and diarrhoea
  • Eye and ear problems
  • Poisoning
  • Coughing and sneezing
  • Itching and skin problems
  • Minor injuries and accidents

If your pet is seriously injured or in need of immediate medical assistance, then you’ll need to contact your local vet and let us know as soon as possible if you need to claim.

How do I set up FirstVet?

FirstVet is available to all
Petsure policy holders

Once your cover has started, you can register with FirstVet. We’ll also send you an email with more information on how to register with FirstVet. Here’s what you’ll need to do:

  • Check your emails We’ll send you an email with access to FirstVet
  • Add your pets Under My Pets, add your pets that you have covered with us
  • Book a consultation When you need FirstVet, simply book a consultation. Just let us know your pet’s symptoms and then pick a time slot.
  • Talk to a vet It's as simple as that. You'll be sent a text reminder before your call is due to start. Just enter the app and join the video call with your vet!
